Competition Team Info

These teams are organized by age and skill level. If you are unsure of which team to register your child into, you can contact me directly at 435-406-1836.

STAR TEAM: 4th grade & older - Intermediate Skill Level

SHINE TEAM: 2nd - 4th grade - Intermediate Skill Level

GLEAM TEAM: 3rd grade & older - Beginner Skill Level

SPARKLE TEAM: 1st-2nd grade - Beginner Skill Level

SHIMMER TEAM: Kindergarten - Novice Skill level

TWINKLE TEAM: PreK - Novice Skill Level

Competition teams learn two full dances, a jazz and a lyrical. These classes meet once a week for a 75-minute class. It is highly recommended that dancers enrolled in competition teams also take an additional technique and/or ballet class. Additional classes for dancers already enrolled in a competition team are only $10/month.

Students enrolled in a Competition Team get any additional classes for only $10/class per month.

Extra Fees: $15 Registration fee, $75 competition fee (charged in November), $140 Costume Fee ($70 each)

Performances: They will perform at one basketball game, the TriDel Review, two competitions and the end-of-year recital.

****Missing more than 5 of these practices could result in inability to perform or compete if dancer is not caught up.

Beginner Technique

Perfect for newcomers, this class focuses on building essential skills like chainés, pirouettes, leaps, kicks, and more. No prior experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Get ready to elevate your dance game and have fun mastering basic dance skills!

Intermediate Technique

This technique class is designed to build on your foundational skills. Perfect for those seeking to refine their technique and explore more complex movements, this intermediate class covers advanced variations of chainés, pirouettes, leaps, kicks, and more.
